Meanwhile, here are a some of the actions we took: 

We conducted an audit to identify our main levers of action. More details about the process and results can be found in this article. 

We are working with a forestry partner (Kloros) to contribute to global carbon neutrality, with some CO2 capture through forest revival. We funded the reforestation and clearing of c. 12ha of forest in France, contributing to the capture of 2500 tCO2 according to the Ministry of the Environment’s computation methods (see Label bas carbone). 

We also started exploring funding direct capture initiatives as the likely most efficient way to ensure long-term removal.

We’re aware no method is perfect and no amount of carbon capture can really be considered enough, but we thought, better to contribute somewhere than nowhere.

We try to continually improve in all aspects of Alan's work life: optimizing our waste triage system, reimbursing 100% of public transport or bikes for employees, refurbishing digital equipment…
